Paediatric First Aid

Our Paediatric First Aid course is specifically tailored for those working with infants and children, such as teachers, childcare providers, and parents. This course provides the skills and confidence needed to respond to a variety of emergencies involving young children.

Course Content:

• Understanding the role of a paediatric first aider
• Assessing emergency situations
• Basic life support for infants and children (CPR and AED use)
• Managing choking incidents
• Treating wounds, bleeding, and burns
• Handling fractures and head injuries
• Recognizing and responding to childhood illnesses
• Record keeping and reporting

Duration: 2 days (blended learning)

Certification: Participants will receive a Paediatric First Aid certificate, valid for three years.

Refresher Course: A one-day refresher course is available to update and reinforce skills, recommended annually.
