Outdoor First Aid at Work

The Outdoor First Aid at Work course is designed for individuals who work in outdoor environments, such as construction sites, parks, and remote locations. This course provides specialized training to handle emergencies that may occur in outdoor settings, where access to medical facilities may be limited.

Course Content:

  • Assessing outdoor emergency situations
  • Basic life support (CPR and AED use) in outdoor settings
  • Managing environmental injuries (hypothermia, heatstroke, etc.)
  • Treating wounds, bleeding, and fractures
  • Handling insect bites, stings, and animal attacks
  • Navigating and communicating in remote areas
  • Using improvised first aid equipment
  • Record keeping and reporting

Duration: 2 days (blended learning)

Certification: Participants will receive an Outdoor First Aid at Work certificate, valid for three years.

Refresher Course: A one-day refresher course is available to update and reinforce skills, recommended annually.
